When you’re selling a home, one of the most important factors in attracting buyers is your curb appeal. How do you increase that curb appeal? We’ve got some great tips for you on how to do just that.
Increasing your curb appeal has to do with basics. One thing you should do is add new mulch in your yard. Don’t use the free mulch from the city, because it hasn’t been treated and can be a breeding ground for termites. Buy treated, dark mulch because it will last longer and keep that fresh look going all summer.
Pressure washing your sidewalks and driveway are great ideas. If the driveway looks worn, go ahead and re-seal it. There’s nothing prettier than a clean driveway when you pull up to a yard.
Make sure your roof, your shutters, and gutters are all clean. Also, trim your bushes, cut the grass anytime it doesn’t look level, and go ahead and add a fresh coat of paint to your front door or porch. It will help your home pop when buyers drive up to it.
