My name is Damon Gettier of Damon Gettier and Associates. I am frequently asked about the current state of real estate market.

Right now, we are still in a buyer’s market and is the most active market we’ve seen since last spring. 

Our inventory is somewhat low since the spring listings have not come on yet. It is safe to say we’re about 1,000 listings down than normal. Interest rates, depending on the loan program, run between 4.25-4.75%. However, anything below 7% is a good interest rate.
