Attention Sellers: Be Prepared for the Entrance of Spring Weather!
Right now, we are experiencing a neutral market. The problem is that it keeps snowing – every weekend we receive snow, the market stops. Our January market was fairly active, but since then the weather has hindered the progress of the market. As soon as the weather breaks, I feel like that the market will quickly turn in favor of the sellers.
Inventory is currently limited – especially in the category of move-in ready houses. We are looking for well-kept homes and if your home fits this category, the sooner you put your house on the market, the better your return will be.
After speaking with our preferred lender, Atlantic Bay Mortgage, we are hearing that interest rates should remain steady over the next several months. Rates of course will trend upwards as the year progresses, but they will remain steady for now.
